Your Questions Answered
Coaching is a deeply personal journey and it’s normal to have questions before you begin.

Whether you're exploring one-on-one support or curious about the Midlife Rebel programs, everything I offer is designed to meet you where you are with compassion, clarity, and no cookie-cutter approach.

This page is here to help you feel informed, supported and confident as you take the first (or next) step toward meaningful change in midlife and beyond.

I'm not sure if I need a counsellor or a coach. How do I decide?
Great question - and one I hear often.
If you’re experiencing emotional distress, trauma or are navigating a crisis (past or present), counselling or therapy may be the most supportive first step.

Coaching, on the other hand, is a powerful approach when you’re feeling stuck, unclear or ready to move forward in life but want support doing so.
Whether it’s boundaries, people-pleasing, confidence, communication, relationships, stress or purpose - coaching helps you uncover what's holding you back and create real momentum.

Still unsure? Feel free to get in touch — I'm happy to help you figure out what’s right for you.

What should I look out for when choosing a coach?
Credentials and experience matter, but so does connection.

When speaking with a coach, ask yourself:
-
Do I feel safe and seen?
-
Do they feel genuinely curious about me?
-
Does this feel like a space where I can explore, reflect and be real?
-
Do I feel hopeful or excited at the idea of working with them?

Coaching is a relationship built on trust, safety, and possibility - go with the coach who feels like the right fit for you.

What’s your coaching style like?
My coaching style is integrative, intuitive and deeply human.

I draw on more than 25 years of experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, weaving together my professional qualifications in Social Work (BSW), Advanced Coaching and many years counselling to create a space that’s both empowering and safe.
As a trauma-informed practitioner, I understand the impact of life experiences and how they shape who we are. I meet you with compassion, not judgment and tailor our work to your unique needs, pace and capacity.

Whether we’re exploring your inner rebel, untangling old patterns, or reconnecting with your intuition, you can expect practical tools, meaningful insight and grounded support to help you create real, lasting change.

Do you work with coaches?
Yes I’ve worked with many coaches over the years and love supporting their personal and professional growth.
Please note: I don’t currently offer support for accreditation or certification requirements.

What are the different coaching options you offer?
I offer
-
Single Session Coaching - great for flexibility or short-term support
-
The Midlife Rebel Coaching Program - structured support over 3 or 6 months for deeper transformation

The right choice depends on your goals, budget, and how deeply you want to go.
You can explore full details and pricing here.
Still not sure? Start with an Initial Session — no pressure, just exploration.
Is there a limit to the number of Single Sessions I can book?
Nope you’re in control. Book as many or as few as feels right for your journey.
What is the Compassion Rate?
I believe coaching should be accessible and inclusive.
That’s why I offer a two-tiered pricing model for Single Sessions:
-
Choose the Compassion Rate if that feels right for your financial situation - no questions asked, ever.
With Single Sessions, do you recommend a certain number of sessions?
To see real momentum, I recommend starting with a minimum of 6 sessions.
But ultimately this is your journey, and you decide what works best for your needs and pace.
What’s the next step?
If you're a first-time client (or it's been 3+ months since we last worked together), start with a 1.5-hour Initial Session - a powerful foundation to explore what’s possible.
